Athanes Phanord, Tanzania 2016

My trip to Tanzania, East Africa has been nothing but great. It was an adventure and experience that I had longed for for many years. If I could, I would revisit Tanzania and continue being of service to their communities. Since my trip to Tanzania, I have been focusing on graduating. I am proud to say that I will be an alumni from Rutgers Newark on May 17, 2017. I am currently in the interview stage of my senior year. I’ve been to a couple of interviews so far. I’m just waiting and praying to get a response soon. I have faith that all will work according to God plan. I am in no rush.

I haven’t travel since my trip to Tanzania, but I do plan on traveling this summer as a way to treat myself for obtaining my Bachelors in Social WOrk and minors in psychology and Afro Studies. I have yet to select my desire country to vacation at. Ever since my trip to Tanzania, I have dreamt of going back, specifically to Zanzibar. I always think about tanzania and my experience. I wish I could relive it.
