My time at the Rutgers University – Newark campus center was such an amazing opportunity to have in graduate school and has shaped me into the professional I am today in many different ways. The greatest aspect of my time at RU-N is that I got the chance to experience many different roles within the Student Life team. I was able to work with student conduct, campus-wide programming, student advising, interdepartmental collaboration, campaign design and much-much more. Having the opportunity to be a part of so many different facets of student life has made me an extremely versatile professional. I am currently the Student Affairs Coordinator at the International Culinary Center in New York City. This new role has continued to challenge my professional flexibility as well as piece together some of my favorite parts from my RU-N experience such as orientation, student advisement and student conduct. Beyond all the skills and abilities I acquired while working in the campus center- the culture, community and attitude of Rutgers University- Newark have forever left a mark on my style as an urban student affairs professional.
